What to Expect
Whether it's managing a specific disease/condition, improving lifestyle, or weight management, our staff of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN's) are dedicated to providing patients with individualized nutrition plans that fit into their own specific lifestyle. In your first 60 minute session we will review your health history, diet history, weight history, social history, lab values (if applicable), medications, and dietary intake in order to provide you with customized recommendations. This first session is critical to get a well rounded understanding of your current lifestyle so that we can provide more targeted advice to your specific reason for counseling. After your inital consultation your RDN will work on a personalized nutrition prescription to discuss at your first 60 minute follow up session. From there you and your RDN will determine an appropriate 30 minute follow up meeting schedule (typical is weekly or biweekly in the beginning) based on your needs. Your follow up sessions will help you stay accountable with your goals and get you on your way to making sustainable lifestyle changes.
