Health Insurance Coverage

Currently, The Rite Bite Nutrition Counseling, PLLC accepts the following health insurance companies. Health Care Reform has had a positive impact on many preventative wellness services such as nutrition counseling. As a result, your health insurance may cover the entire cost for your visits with us. Our office will confirm your insurance benefits for nutrition counseling prior to your appointment if we are in network with your health insurance. If we are out of network with your insurance, we will assist you in seeking reimbursement by providing a Superbill as an out-of-network provider and will obtain the necessary referral paperwork from your doctor as appropriate.

Payment is due at the time of service. Cash, Checks, and Credit Cards are accepted for payment of fee/co-pay.

It is the patient’s responsibility to verify the coverage provided by their own insurance.  You will be billed for any services provided that are not paid by your carrier.

Check with Your Insurance Provider
To check your benefits with your insurance provider and verify the following:
Is a referral required?
Is my diagnosis of ___________ covered?
How many visits are covered over what period of time?
Any co-pay or deductible?

Flex Spending Accounts
If you have a Flex-spending or Healthcare Savings account (HSA) through your employer we can accept that for payment of co-pays, deductibles and all private pay options.

Cancellation/Reschedule Policy
24 hours advanced notice is required for all cancellations or reschedules. If appointments are not canceled or rescheduled in this manner, charges will apply. Thank you for your cooperation with this policy.
